Reviews major theories on the nature of law and legal systems, including the issues of authority, justice, rights, legitimacy, morality, legal interpretation, liberty, punishment and judicial ethics that concern them. Topics include natural law, legal positivism, legal realism, political liberalism, interpretive theories, and critical legal theory.
